This Professional Grade RF Signal Meter offers 3 Distinct Modes–allowing you to inspect each frequency to eliminate all overload or limited signal issues prior to installation.
Mode 1 – Allows for signal readings to be taken by blocks within each frequency
Mode 2 – Allows for readings by Frequency for ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile (AWS), 1900 voice (all carriers)
Mode 3 – Provides an average signal strength for each full band by frequency
**NOTE** It is recommended that a site survey be completed in advance of using a booster solution. The objective of a site survey is to pinpoint the best placement for the external (donor) antenna, identify what type of external and internal antenna is needed, and to determine the correct booster for the location. Utilize the RF Signal Meter to record signal strength on floor plan both inside and outside on ALL sides of building. In order for any cell signal booster to work effectively, there MUST be a signal to work with. For a booster to work at its best, the optimal target range for an incoming signal is between -45dB to -95dB.
